I thought these are amazing:
Russel Lynes - "Every journalist has a novel in him, which is an excellent place for it."
Dr.Thomas Fuller - "Get the facts, or the facts will get you. And when you get them, get them right, or they will get you wrong."

I am scarrred steeff llleike crrrrazy.
As you can see I am an Isrraaeli, viff an akcent. Now if you pleaase, I have a british accent. Now pahhdon me, I am scaaaed stiff. Now like, and totally I am like totally an American. You know what is in season? Well, designing a different outfit for each person in the world. You know, when you think of lets say a British person you suddenly think of those soldiers with long furry hats? Well, It's tuns of fun!!! An American has a t-shirt saying I love NY, and some shorts. An israeli, is more different: You see, there is Charedim, Datyiim Leumim and Chilonim (all different kinds). So a Charedi is a man that has one of those long robe with furry SHORT hats. A dati Leumi is a girl with a 'Gush Katiff' shirt, and skirts to the knees and crocs. Okay, okay, okay, OKAY! I will not do it again. I always get overboard (well, I also get over-bored).
Okay, I also have not say proper Hello. (okay, now imagine that I say it one long breath -) Hello! How are you? I am good! I am happy that your good too! Whoa, okay, I am going to fast. Well, I am not that good. Don't ask me why!! Okay, Okay, it's about the war (duh). I am scared stiff... I mean, they put up signs in each class to go to this certan place when there is a siren when a bomb comes. That means that they are getting ready, which is NOT a good sign...
Now, they had a weight and height test at school, and the nurse did not say anything so I don't know if it is a good sign or a bad sign...
I got to do my homework! Guys, I am not having e-mails, Shame on you!!!
Love,
Adina

By the way - new war coming!
Okay, how are you? Well, I have some stuff to tell -
- Happy 2009!!!!!!!!!! Well, get ready, my Bat-Mitzva is on 2010!!!!
- Thanks to Sue and John for the book 'Little Women" for Chanuka!
- Abba asked me if I would like to learn programming on the computer - sounds interesting!
- Saddest and last - the war between Israel and Gaza. Well, Hamas is being bombed like there is no tomorrow. I am very happy about that! But also, now also Gaza is bombing all over. I actually have a best-friend that moved from Beit-Shemesh (her name is Ashira Major) and she did not go to school because of the danger, and this place called Gadera is being bombed and it is like 7 minutes away of where Ashira lives ( it is called Yad-Binyamin ).
Also, now that I have done some research Beit shemesh is 40 kilometers from Gaza so there is NO way that the bombs will come to me.
Here is something funny - my friends are real Republicans in their soul and you know what they said the day after the elections? They were going on and on how Obama is bad for Israel. So a couple of days ago my friend which was the most Republican of them all said: "Well, now I don't think Obama is going to be so bad because he let us bomb Gaza."
Here is something funny that came from the war: Well, on Wednesday my English teacher did not come so we had a different teacher that which taught me 1st grade English (which is really funny!). So she talked about the war and she told us we need to write letters to the soldiers that are fighting. So one girl asked, "Should I write my name?" So my teacher said you should ,but if you don't want to, you can write, "A girl from Beit Shemesh in 5th grade." So another girl asked, "Should we write our phone numbers or addresses?" So my teacher said, "No. This is not a dating service." And I can tell you that everyone BURST out laughing!
That's it! There isn't any more!

"I can't complain but sometimes I still do"
Well, guess where that is from - no, of course not Cecilia Bartoli, I mean like - DAH! It is not Chaim Dovid the singer. I will give you a guess: it is from the song: "Life's been good to me so far", but still, you got to get the singer right (NOT the Singer sewing machine). Okay, Okay, Okay, it is (dam, ditidam, dam, dam, it's trumpets but I need to borrow one) the one and only Joe Walsh!!!!!
'it's NOT fair', 'your really mean', 'it's really not nice', 'you always give everything to my sibs and never to me', 'he only get 190 shekels for allowance and I get a half of a shekel'. Okay you got the point. Now, where I was? Well, oh right - I have gotten so far (get ready) 16 books for Chanuka!!! Here is the other thanks: Grandma Bette, Grandpa Paul, Grandma Bette, Grandpa Paul, Grandma Bette, Grandpa Paul!!! See, See, See? I can't complain but sometimes I still do (Waaaahhhhh, Waaahhhh) because you are here reading it!!!!!
Now, I have something to tell you, Judi Levine - we have an appointment on Monday, right? Grandma Bette and Grandpa Paul - How's your house and you? Grandpa Saul and Grandma Judy - How's you and your house? Nana and Gramps - Your darling grandchildren are happy your reading this. Meme and Jojo - Lets see how we are related: My uncle's wife is your daughter. Wow - that Wacky, or Groovy, or Cool, or Cool dude, or cool dudet! My uncles that I always forget your order or your names - (just bustin' your chops). Eliana, Amichai, Lev - you are too cute! Dara and Jake - When in the world are we going to see eachother? Okay, I will not do every person I know, but you get the idea.
By the way - No one is writing comments (another complaint)!

Happening - more, more, more. Too MUCH!!!!!
Okay, here is what picture is what. The picture that has 4 girls in it is from top to bottom, Left to right - Rina, Shira, Batsheva, and Tikva.
The cake is from the surprise party we made for the teacher when she came back with her sprained ankle. It says: Blessed healer of the sick (I would not say it, mommy told me. Ahm, ahm).
Sara looking back and just being CUTE!
That boy is my cousin Amichai, being adorable.
And Yosha Bear bringing out a birthday cake for my uncles Bentzi and Shuli.
Love,
Adina
P.s. I also wanted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for the presents you gave me! The books: "The tales of beetle the bard", the 2nd "Septimus Hip" book of the series, and "The tale of 2 wagons and other stories". Also, the watch which I am wearing right now and a jewelry box. THANKS to Grandma Judy, Grandpa Saul, Chana Chassia, Gedalia, meme, jojo, gramps, nana, mommy and abba.
This is a whisper messege. Don't worry - Grandma Bette and Grandpa Paul - I will bring you up, after all I am openning one of the presents tonight (got the messege? Hint: there is 2) Whoever figures it out will e-mail me I will give them a prize (I am not joking).

English assignment at last!
Well, for Chanuka in English class each class got an assignment that each girl does. You give it in to the teacher and she picks the best one and it goes into the English newspaper that we get before chanuka. Our class was assigned to interview someone (not something, dah, I mean, would you think I am stupid enough). I did not know who, but mommy pointed out that she knows a famous author in israel - Mimi Zakon. So I called her and interviewed her. I gave it in on time, and guess what? No, mine did not get a F. No, I did not even get a C. Mine got into the newspaper! Here is the interview:
Answer: I have written about 10 books, and I have also translated books from Hebrew into English, though Bakers Dozen and BY times books were my ideas, but I did not write them.
2. Question: Are you still an author?
Answer: Yes. There is a book of mine that is being published, and it will be in stores in the summer.
3. Question: Which book that you wrote you liked best, and why?
Answer: I liked best 'The Jerusalem diaries' - I wrote that a long time ago when I lived in America. I love it best because then my dream was to live there, and Jerusalem is very special to me.
4. Question: Which character or characters do you like best from your books and why?
Answer: I like the quintuplets best from baker's dozen, because I know how they feel - I have a twin (that lives in Beit-Shemesh). Even though it is not the same.
5. Question: Do you know any other others?
Answer: Yes, I do know a lot of authors.
6. Question: Which other books/authors do you like best?
Answer: Authors: In the not Jewish world: Jane Austin. In the Jewish world: Meir Origottasman
7. Question: Do you write 1 book at a time or you write a couple of books at a time?
Answer: I write 1 book at a time.
8. Question: What is the hardest part of being an author?
Answer: I love writing so it is not so hard. It is probably when the book is already published because if I look at it and I want to change it, I can't.
9. Question: How did you get interested in writing?
Answer: I have been reading a lot. I have been writing since 3rd grade.
10. Question: Where do you get your ideas?
Answer: First of all and most important - Hashem. I think 'what if' and that gives me the idea.
11. Question: Do you have any massage you would like to give the girls in me school?
Answer: Yes. Even though we have DVD and Internet and films, their is still time for many to sit down and read a book. The feeling can be so great for a girl or boy.
Thanks to Mrs.Zakon for your time!
The end! Happy Chanuka!

AAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhh!
Do you know how much tests I had this year not including book reports and spelling tests? I had 12 tests!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhhh! You know how much is planned? 2!!!!! I had a 'Bat Mitzva' amount of tests! You know how much I got back? 5! Isn't that Chutzpa? I did not even get a test back that I did on October 10th!
You want to hear something cool, I mean I think it is good for me: the past 7 weeks I have only lost weight! The rest I stayed the same! Don't even ask! I will NOT tell you what my weight is. Except the one and only Judi Levine! (Judi - DO NOT tell them!).
Another cool thing - This year in Hebrew class I have free writing time. Isn't that great? Now you will know where my writing comes from. Anyway, I am up to my 4th chapter. Don't worry, I also wrote a song, wrote another paragraph and a story. Also, I have EVERYTHING planned. I know exactly what is going to happen. I got about 3 million ideas from 3 billion different authors. For instance: I got an idea from J.K. Rowling - I already planned in advance, she did it too! I got an idea of riddles from another Israeli author. As you can see. I have some LIFE!

Adina

New, New, new stuff!
Hi everyone!
It has been quite a little bit of time that I have posted something. Last week on Monday my teacher sprained her ankle. She has not come since... She is coming TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!! My whole class is doing all these things for her. In the end of the day last Thursday, I had my new camera there and we took a picture of the whole class and I put it on the computer and printed it. We (my class) made a little booklet with blessings in them for the teacher. I miss her. I mean, how mane subsitute teachers CAN you have? One famous think that you expect to say: I did not learn ANYTHING!!! I mean, maybe we learned for the last 10 minutes of class about Chanuka. But that is about it.
Mommy started Bananot (the girls group) again. We talked about Harry Potter 7. IT WAS GREAT!!!!! Next book will be for Bananot is "Phantom tollbooth". I am excited to read it!
I started being a member in a youth group. This month it is when every group (every age) learns a dance and in the end of the month we preform in front of mothers and all. I had practice today, and I can tell you that I am tired out of me guts!
Love,
Adina

Today will not come tomorrow
Hi everyone!
I had a field trip today, it was TERRIBLE! I kept getting hurt and even my teacher either sprained her ankle badly or broke it... I am going to a ballet tonight, I am SSSSSoooooooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!
Nana -
Magyk is total fantasy! It is all about magic, and if I would 'live' in that time my life would be much more dangerous (I spelled that by myself, YAY for me)!
The kid who became President is a boy named Judson which is 13 years old. His 'genius' friend named Lane has this idea for Judson to run for president, if you want to find out more, read it or leave it!

More news:
Hi everybody! Hello friends, family and me! But also Hi to this blog!
I have been reading a ton lately: Have you heard of the book Magyk (magic, spelled differently) by Angy Sage? I read it in Hebrew, but it was translated from English to Hebrew. It is about 500 pages and it is very like Harry Potter, but Magyk is much more complicated . I could not even stop reading! If you want a short summary, here it is: In one night: A baby boy disappears, A queen gets killed and the Princess gets saved. 10 years later, they find out how those 3 things come together. I really recommend the book!
The next book is: "The kid who became President" sequel to the book "The kid who ran for President" by Dan Gutman. The book "The kid who became President" was taken from the library. When I read it, I could not stop laughing! It is about a boy named Judson Moon, and he is 13 years old. He runs for President in the sequel and becomes president is the book I just read. It is really funny! Especially, I learned a lot about the White house. It says in the book ( I don't know if it is true ) that there is about 132 rooms in the white house.
If you have comments, you can comment bellow, I will be checking it. You can also send me an e-mail. If you find a mistake, I would be more than happy to tell me both ways!
Thanks, Adina
